In These Delhi Schools Acting Dance And Music Training Is Available Along With Education


Delhi’s new Education Minister Atishi Marlena on April 18 launched the ‘Delhi Arts Curriculum Report’ being conducted in Delhi schools by NalandaWay Foundation. In fact, the Nalandave Foundation, in collaboration with the Delhi government, runs an art-based education program in schools in Delhi, in which children are taught dance, music, acting, music and painting. Along with this, events and programs are also organized for children, in which children participate and enhance their abilities. Presently this program is running in 9 schools of Delhi, in which around 3980 children and 89 teachers are a part.

Founder and CEO of Nalandave Foundation Shriram V said at the launching event that he always believes in bringing change in the society through arts. He said that Nalandave Foundation had signed an MoU with the Delhi government three years ago and today we are running our pilot project in 9 schools of Delhi which will soon be implemented in the whole of Delhi.

What is Nalandave Foundation

Nalandave Foundation is a non-profit organization that works for children, especially in the most backward districts of the country. Together with children, these organizations raise their problems and voices through music, dance, visual arts, theater and film. Nalandave Foundation works on the WCD model, that is, on the Whole Child Development model. Till now this organization has helped more than 5 million children. Presently Nalandave Foundation is working closely with the Governments of Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
